Create Facebook Ad Account

Setting Up Your First Ad Account

Step 1: Access Business Manager

  1. Go to business.facebook.com (opens in a new tab)
  2. Click "Create Account" if you don't have one
  3. Enter your business details

Step 2: Create Ad Account

  1. Navigate to Business Settings
  2. Click "Ad Accounts" under Accounts
  3. Click "Add" → "Create a New Ad Account"
  4. Enter account details:
    • Account name
    • Time zone
    • Currency
    • Payment method

Step 3: Set Up Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Settings
  2. Add a payment method:
    • Credit/Debit card
    • PayPal
    • Bank account (if available)
  3. Set your account spending limit

Step 4: Assign Users

  1. Go to Ad Account Settings
  2. Click "Add People"
  3. Enter email addresses
  4. Assign appropriate roles:
    • Admin: Full control
    • Advertiser: Create and edit ads
    • Analyst: View performance only

  • Use a business credit card for easier expense tracking
  • Set spending limits to control budget
  • Enable two-factor authentication
  • Review Facebook's advertising policies
